I take pictures, and sometimes, I talk about them.
Melissa and I got married in Hayward Wisconsin On Saturday October 6th. It was the most amazing, personal, intimate, and uniquely us wedding that we could have imagined. Everyone asks if it feels different now, I don’t think it does, because it just feels so right. A big thanks to Dave from Ricco for taking time to shoot the wedding. More photos to come soon.
I missed most of Center Street Daze, But I still got my share of fun, Kim N Tonic showed up with an awesome Whitney Houston dress that most everyone tried on. Without a doubt, Quinn rocked it the hardest! I finished off the night at the Bay View VFW and rocked some karaoke for free Whiskey!
Melissa and I filled out our wedding license today. I was surprised by the question “Are the bride and groom related?” I guess cousins can be quite removed, but still, it made me giggle. Only 2 more weeks until the big day!
We had an amazing time. I didn’t get some of the shots I wanted, but was very happy with the results. I know now how to plan better for 20 girls in 4 hours. I still have some great ideas for each team, but because of the complexity and time, maybe I’ll do the Captains. We’ll see.
This was my first outing with the 40D, I had to wait for LR1.2 to process them. So far, I am pretty happy, it’s much faster than the 10D, but noise isn’t as stellar as I had hoped. I did shoot a lot at 3200.
We had a fun time at Conjitos for the Auction Dinner. I love their food, so I was in heaven.After being let down by he New Yorker not being open, we headed over to Cactus Club for some madness.

I pulled out the old Altoids Camera (Optio s3 that fits into a mint tin) and snapped some shots at Locust Street Days.
This was a fun night, WWC released their CD that I designed. They played with IfIHadAHiFi.
I did not take much from this ride, not as much as I have in the past. It’s fun to see people that I only see in the 2 Bay View Bar Crawls that Bill Puts together, This is Bill
Dixie, Nate, and I hopped to see Pat MacDonald last night. It was probably one of the best solo performances I’d ever seen. Headlights opened up for him (well he wasn’t the official headliner, but the last group didn’t hold my interest) and they hit my mood for the night right on the head, thier (new) drummer was fabulous. All in all, a great night.
There is a print of this on the first floor of my work, I see it a lot and still like it.
